Each Kidney failure patient getting Hemodialysis has different requirement regarding dialysis treatment and hence they should not be treated in the same way. The difference in requirements reflect in Blood flow rate, Dialysis flow rate, Choice of dialyzer (membrane, surface area, etc), duration of each dialysis session and most important formulation of Hemodialysis concentrate being used. Hence Prescription dialysis should be the role.

In most of the developing countries even in good Hemodialysis centres, all patients are dialyzed using the same concentrate solution inrespective of requirements which may comes significant health hazards like high or low B.P., High calcium in the blood, high or low potassium in blood, thirst, low glucose in blood, etc. In this era of globalized advanced scientific knowledge patients should be given the advantages of prescription dialysis at almost no extra cost.
